Can I swap my season tickets with the ticket office to sit in the MVAA Alumni block?
No, the VT Ticket Office doesn't allow swapping of tickets for season ticket holders. If you'd like to sit within the Alumni Block, you must pay for additional tickets using the Online Registration process.
Can I reserve game and tailgate tickets with a credit card?
Yes, our Online Registration uses PayPal for payment processing.
How will the schedule be affected (tailgate, practice) if the football game gets moved later in the day by the TV coverage schedule?
All schedules will be set within ten (10) days before the game. Please check the MVAA website for the most up-to-date information.
Do we have a hotel block?
Yes. See the Hotel Information page for more details.
When will I get my tickets?
We'll have tickets for all activities available when you check-in at the MV field on Saturday.
When will I get my instrument?
If you're using one of our instruments, you can pick it up at the practice field on Saturday. Separate lines will be available for all instruments.
When will I get my t-shirt?
We'll have t-shirts available when you check-in.
Do I have to pay the registration fee even if I don't want to march?
Yes. Putting together an event like this requires some level of overhead costs. We don't make any money on tickets, shirts, etc., so we need the registration fee to make sure we cover all of our costs for the event.
What do you get for the tailgate?
  • BBQ Chicken Breast
  • Traditional macaroni salad
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Fresh made potato salad
  • Southern baked beans
  • Baked apples
  • Oven fresh yeast rolls
  • Sweet and unsweet tea
What if plans change?
Check the website frequently and ESPECIALLY before you leave home!
Will I receive anything in the mail?
No. Updates will be posted on the website and sent out through the mailing list.

What should I wear for the game?
You should wear jeans, tennis shoes, and your MVAA t-shirt you receive at the field.
